Few European countries
have endured such tragic history as Poland and yet with remarkable
resilience, the Poles have managed to preserve both their language and culture.
Despite 300 years of domination by aggressive neighbours, unbelievable
physical and human destruction during WW2 and 40 years of Communist
oppression, the modern Republic of Poland is now a vibrant society with
so much of interest to offer visitors.
