Never before read such a detailed, well-written and thoroughly researched travel book. The authors show in their writing such understanding of the Baltic region and the people of the Baltic States. They certainly have the miles under their belt, and you feel as you read the book that you are sharing their journey.

A Treasure trove of detail about a region totally unfamiliar to British readers:

I knew nothing about the Baltic States and should not have considered travelling to the Baltic region. But I was drawn to their second book after buying a copy of Paul and Sheila's Iceland Book, and was impressed with the detail and knowledge which they pack into their writing. I was not at all disappointed: this book is in a different league from other more superficial guide books. Their writing left me feeling well-acquainted with the Baltics, and I thoroughly recommend the book to others. I particularly liked their photos and found their maps invaluable.
